1:400 Boeing 2707 SST, Boeing, Pan Am
|
|
Yes, 1/400 scale!
With careful assembly, this kit allows the wings to swing from the forward to swept positions. Landing gear is not provided. A display stand is provided.
The decal allows for either the Boeing 'house' scheme or Pan Am markings. Oddly, the Pan Am scheme shows a blue fin with a white logo, a scheme never worn by an Pan Am jet. I guess a "Flight of Fancy" scheme for a "Flight of Fancy" jet!
Alternate decals are available from DRAW Decals, Search DW40-2707 to find them.

1:96 Boeing 727-100, Boeing

This is the Aurora Models and Monogram kit from the 1960's and 70's, resurrected by Atlantis Models.
The box art says "Boeing 727-200", and the image is of one of the first series 200s in Boeing markings. However the kit is most certainly a series 100.
Additional decals are available from Vintage Flyer Decals, Search VFD96 to find them.
