1:144 Wing, Leading Edge Slats and Flaps for the Boeing 747-100/200/300
AHS Price $72.00

This is a resin conversion kit for the Revell Boeing 747-100/200 series along with the Welsh Models 747-100/200/300 kits.

It contains the main wings, four main landing flap sections and six leading edge Krueger flaps.

Tabs are not provided on the wing roots. I recommend using piano wire inserted into holes drilled into the wing roots to strengthen the joint.

The Krueger flaps can be fixed in the open or closed position.

The Brass rods seen in the image are not included, and are a suggestion for assembly allowing the flaps to be positioned at any angle desired by the modeler. I recommend reviewing photographs of aircraft taking off and landing for guidance.
