Description

This is STS44-255 enlarged to 1/100 scale to fit the Nitto/Entex/Doyusha 1/100 scale DC-8-62 kit. As Air Canada did not fly this version, the kit will have to be modified to a series 43, 50, 50F, 61 or 63. All these conversions require the fuselage to be shortened or lengthened, and for replacement engines.

A "details" sheet with cabin and cockpit windows, baggage door outlines, tail plane scuff plates, wing walk outlines and more is provided.

Note, the decal sheet and instruction sheet both still carries the "STS44-255" product code. Due to limitations with laser printing, white elements (e.g. fleet numbers for the fin and white parts of the door outline) could not be printed and are not provided.
