Description
 
This solid resin part converts the Airfix BAC 1-11 to the more pointed radome used by the aircraft in service.  Only the prototypes (upon which the Airfix kit is based) and the first few British United Airlines aircraft used the original blunt radome, and these were replaced before the aircraft entered service.
