Description

The HP.137 Jetstream 3 was equipped with Turbomeca Asazou XIV engines, however the version proposed for the USAF order was to have Garrett TPE-331 engines. The USAF order was cancelled, and none were delivered.

Following the bankruptcy of Handley Page, British Aerospace resurrected the program. The Bae Jetstream 31 and 32 were all fitted with the TPE-331 engines. A "quick" engine conversion to the Garret can be achieved by simply installing the front part of the kit engine upside down from what is shown in the kit instructions.... apply a little putty, and don't look too closely!
