The origins of this airframe start with RAAF A68-175. By 1995, and with three rebuilds combining parts of two other airframes, ultimately yields N51DT, registered to Vintage War Birds Inc. It was painted to represent the aircraft flown by Lt.Col. William T Halton of the 352nd Fighter Group. This decal represents this Mustang as it appeared at Gathering of Mustangs and Legends in Columbus, Ohio during 2007.
