G-BIXL / 44-72216 is a WWII veteran, reportedly with two "kills" to her credit. She was flown with 352nd Fighter Group by Capt. Raymond Littge as "Miss Helen", later by Lt. Russell Ross as "Miss Nita". Post war she eventually made her way to the UK, starring in the movie "Memphis Belle" (as "Miss L"). She was damaged in 2004, repaired by 2007, and is active as likely the only surviving Mustang from 352nd Fighter Group.
