This P51 has a very confused history. Confusion arose during a repaint when Royal Swedish Air Force markings were found under a layer of paint, and a RSwAF placard found with serial 26158 in the tail. Consequently it was painted in these Royal Swedish Air Force markings as 26158 and civilian reg SE-BKG. It was sold to the UK in 2002, and its "true" heritage eventually discovered.
