N51TK / 44-63350 operated with 15th Air Force in WWII. In 2006, owned by John McKittrick, it was painted to commemorate 44-13410 "Lou IV", flown by Colonel Thomas J J Christian in USAAF service. It crashed in 2007, fatally injuring its owner. It is apparently undergoing rebuild. This decal depicts the aircraft as it appeared at Gathering of Mustangs in 1999.
