Another P51 with a confusing history. Built as 44-72483, it became 44-63789 upon import from Nicaragua in 1963, while USAAF records show this aircraft crashed in WWII. Restored to 44-72483 in 1965. In 1975 it was registered NL151DM and painted as 472308 which was flown by Maj. Pierce McKennon of the 4th Fighter Group. It appeared in these markings at Gathering of Mustangs in 2007.
