1:200 Champion Air Boeing 727-200
20s-727-32
An interesting story about an ex Champion Air 727-200. N293AS (as XB-MNP) eventually made its way to Mexico, where it was fitted with cameras, crash test dummies and other equipment. Then on April 27th 2012, it was deliberately crash-landed (by remote control) into the Sonoran Dessert. The badly damaged airframe apparently still exists, in a field beside Federal Highway 5 south of Mexicali, Mexico.
